At SkeduleUp ("we," "our," or "us"), accessible at skeduleup.com, we respect your privacy. This policy explains the information collected when hospitality professionals create cards and guests view cards or request schedule updates.
1. Information we collect
From hospitality professionals
- Account and profile information: name, email address, restaurant or workplace, public card link, self-reported shifts, recurring weekly schedule, and any personal note you choose to display.
- Authentication information needed to manage your account, including a password processed by our authentication provider or a card access code.
- Card creation, first-access and schedule-update timestamps, and card activity statistics.
From guests and visitors
- Reminder requests: the email address and shift preference you submit, the associated server card, and the signup time.
- Card interactions: QR scans, page views, save actions, reminder requests, and self-reported "I'm here today" check-ins.
- Technical and usage information: browser identifiers, session identifiers, referral and campaign information, device/browser information, and timestamps. Technical request information may also be used for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use information
- To create and display public cards and schedules, maintain accounts, and provide support.
- To record requested reminders and send service communications when enabled. Submitting a reminder request does not guarantee a particular delivery time.
- To provide private card statistics to servers and administrative reporting to SkeduleUp administrators.
- To understand use of the service, measure marketing effectiveness, and prevent or troubleshoot abuse and technical problems.
3. Public information and service providers
Your name, workplace, public note, and published schedule are visible to anyone who has your card link and may appear in search results. Do not put private information in your public note.
We use cloud hosting, data storage, and authentication providers to operate SkeduleUp, and Resend for custom email delivery. Authorized administrators can access profiles, reminder signups, and activity records to manage the service.
SkeduleUp also uses the Meta Pixel, described below. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their own privacy terms. Information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.
We do not sell or rent guest email contact lists. The marketing measurement described below involves sharing website event information with Meta.
4. Cookies, browser storage, and marketing measurement
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, access-code sessions, remembering dismissed prompts, counting unique views, and recognizing returning visitors. A 24-hour unique-view counting window is not the same as the lifetime of a browser identifier; some identifiers last longer.
The Meta Pixel records page visits and selected actions, such as viewing a schedule, starting signup, and requesting reminders. Meta may receive browser/device details, page URLs, and event details, including a card identifier and selected shift preference, and may associate this information with its own identifiers for measurement and advertising.
You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through Meta. Blocking cookies or tracking may affect sign-in and other functions. Learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy.
5. Retention, reminders, and deletion
We keep information as needed to operate the service, maintain reminder lists, address security issues, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by information type; we do not promise that all records expire after 24 hours.
To stop reminders or request removal of a guest signup, email info@skeduleup.com with the email address used and the relevant server card. Use an unsubscribe link if one is provided in a message.
Servers can edit their public card and request card or account deletion by contacting us. Card deletion and sign-in account deletion are separate actions; tell us if you want both removed. We may verify your identity before acting, and limited records or backups may remain where necessary for legal or security purposes.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, or object to or restrict certain uses. Send requests to the contact below. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy authority.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as our service changes and will show the revised date on this page.
